Western Beverages Pvt. Ltd. is a Company incorporated in the year 1996.Its most Modern Bottling Plant practicing International Manufacturing Processes is located in Cuncolim Industrial Estate, Salcette Goa. The Company has developed its own Brands of Carbonated and Non-Carbonated Beverages. Two of the brand of Premium Mixers is Twist and Taan. Twist currently has 3 flavors namely Tonic Water, Ginger Ale, Bitter Lemon and a premium Soda Water. These are available in 250ml non returnable full sleeve glass bottles. The packing of a multicolor corrugated box contains 12 bottles. The product is stamped best before 9 months from date of manufacture. Initially it started its operations as a franchise of Cadbury Schweppes India Ltd. a Subsidiary of Cadbury Schweppes England. The Company also manufactured “Bisleri” Club Soda between 1998 and 2000. WBPL had the foresight to re-organize its activities by packaging drinking water and their own brand of “Taan” was launched. Within a short time it captured the loyalty of consumers not just in Goa but also Maharashtra and Karnataka for their production met all the criteria of safety in packaging, purity and freshness. Taan comes in four different flavors of Taan Orangeade, Taan Lemonade, Taan - Masala Soda, Taan – Pineapple Fizz and Taan Soda Water. Very popular with youngsters as also with adults, Taan Masala Soda is an excellent Thirst Quencher Our ambitious “Twist” range of sweet carbonated beverages or premium mixers have been developed after much research. The Twist Tonic Water, Ginger Ale, Bitter Lemon and Soda Water are all available in snazzy, eco-friendly glass bottles of 250ml. Interestingly, our Twist concentrates are not based on synthetic and alternate sweeteners. They are still based on old-fashioned “pure natural sugar” and perhaps that's why Twist Ginger Ale and Bitter Lemon have become a hot favorite among users; they do not have cloying after-taste which so many other aerated drinks have today.
